Nendoroid Oshino Shinobu Review

This is one of my most awaited figure release for the year and I’m so glad I got her early on (even if this review is late orz).  Thanks to Onegai Oniichan for accomodating my order of Nisemonogatari Premium Item BOX.

I remember being ecstatic once GSC announced her. And now, after seeing her in the flesh, having unboxed and played with her for a quite a bit, I can safely say thanks GSC for taking my money 🙂

Now, on with some disclaimers: this review is a bit more organized than my first one and I hope you enjoy it reading it as much as I did while creating the materials for this post.  I was supposed to publish it early but I decided to take the time to redo some of my shots so that they’ll come out better.  Hope you guys like it and subscribe!

And without further ado here she is:

Yep, You read that right.  Continuing the trend from Bakemonogatari’s Premium Item Box, GSC has elected to put Shinobu as Nisemonogatari’s limited edition nendoroid.  What does the Premium box contain? Well lets open her up and see.

Tada!  According to GSC’s website and catalog, the Nisemonogatari Premium Item Box contains:

• Short story by Nisio Isin.
• Nendoroid Oshino Shinobu
• 3x clear posters
• 3x tin badges illustrated by VOFAN, Akio Watanabe and Hajime Ueda
• Shinobu Postcards that you probably won’t send to anyone but yourself because you’re a collector 🙂
• Trading Cards

Lets get a closer look on each of them shall we?

The small red book contains Nisio Isin’s short story complete with this cute rendition of our beloved vampire.

Moon runes alert.  If you want the whole story, please buy one of these.  It’s worth your money.

And here’s the 3 pins that you’ll probably cry over if you lose them after deciding to pin them on your bag.

And here’s the three clear posters.  I haven’t put them up on my room yet but I’ll probably get them up once I clear out some unopened boxes ^_^.

And now that we have discussed the other contents of the box, lets move on to the most important bit.

Formerly Kiss–Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, Oshino Shinobu is one of the main characters of the Bakemonogatari Series.  If you haven’t picked it up and watched it, I suggest you drop everything now and start watching ^_^;  Now if you’re already familiar with the series, you already know that Shinobu LOVES DONUTS.  GSC’s Shichibee really out did himself with this figure.  It’s simply so adorable 🙂  I could come up with a ton of words that mean cute but looking at her from this shot, she’s simply too cute to keep her locked in her box.

Aside from the usual assortment of limbs (some of which includes her favorite munchies :D) so you can pose her, she also comes with the wide brimmed hat that you see above and her demon sword ‘Kokorowatari’.

Shinobu’s box also comes with a printed background of her master/servant’s room.  The donut box you see here is not included.

Now if you’re looking for her serious side, here’s Shinobu holding her odity killer, Kokorowatari.  Even her fierce expression is cute ^_^;
