Allow me to say thank you to Aquamarine for bringing in sculptor Satoshi Toda for his glorious handiwork with this 1/7 scale figure of Sinon [しのん]. Ever since Wonfest 2014 and the GK teasers, this Sinon (best girl discussions are that way (ﾉ^∇^)ﾉﾟ) was my holy grail :D. While she did arrive late, I’m soooo glad I bit the bullet to get one. Hello again! It’s been awhile and I’m not happy about that — mainly because my backlogs are increasing :(. On a more happier note. I have in my hand a figure of my best girl from one of my favorite idol serieses — the iDolM@ster. I finally got some time on my hands to do more Toy Photography and test out some new equipment 😀 This is a montage of a couple of shots for GSC’s Shinobu and FigFX’s (surprise) Shinobu. I’m still working on controlling the vignette for my new Tamron 24-70 but in most cases it’s desirable (like most of my portraiture work, etc). I still like the output but the vignette breaks the continuity for the stitched image. Kurumi isn’t my top Date A live character unless when she goes into her Yandere mode (sorry Yoshino, Kotori) and I’m so glad they made a figure for her. Griffon has a scale figure for her which was a pleasant surprise when her finished product came up (the prototype was bad, really bad) so I’m still on the fence whether or not to regret not getting it–but hey, at least GSC stepped up and made cute nendoroid for her :D. This is one of my most awaited figure release for the year and I’m so glad I got her early on (even if this review is late orz). Thanks to Onegai Oniichan for accomodating my order of Nisemonogatari Premium Item BOX. I remember being ecstatic once GSC announced her.
